Huguette Tremblay (Fillion)

On June 21, 2026, Mme Huguette Tremblay, wife of the late M. Jacques Fillion, passed away at the CHSLD Centre d'hébergement St-François at the age of 92. She was the daughter of the late Mme Berthe Morissette and the late M. Joseph Tremblay. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Complexe funéraire Rive-Nord (Ste-Claire). The funeral will take place at the same location with visitation starting at 4:30 p.m. and the service at 5:30 p.m., including a celebration of the Word held in the chapel of the funeral home.

Her remains will be inurned at the Saguenay cemetery at a later date. She was the mother of Line Fillion (Martial Boulianne), the late Fabienne (Alain Morency), Serge (Mariette Boucher), Ernest (Chantale Hudon), Lisa (Jean-Luc Dugal), and Christian (Danielle Deschênes). She was a grandmother to Pascale Boulianne (Stéphane Savard), Véronique Morency (Francis Girard), Simon Morency (Vanessa Brassard), Annick Boulianne (Nicolas Godin), Christina Fillion, Juliette Fillion-Dugal, and many great-grandchildren. She had siblings including the late Reine Marguerite Tremblay, Laval, Jean-Paul, Roger, Georges, Germain, Ginette, Théo, Pierrette, Jean-Eudes, Marie-France, Christianne, Daniel, and Madeleine. She was the sister-in-law of the late Jean-Paul Fillion, Jeanne, Fredo, Gertrude, Marcel, Thérèse, Jacqueline, Émilien, and Yvon Tremblay. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The family thanks the staff of the Centre d'hébergement St-François for their care and attention. In her memory, donations can be made to Cancer Saguenay, with a volunteer present at the salon to collect them, or online via their secured website.
