Idalia Lozano

Idalia Ramos Lozano, age 72, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2026. She was born on June 25, 1954, in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, to Juan Manuel Lozano and Amalia Ramos Lozano.Idalia was raised with a deep appreciation for family, culture, and the arts. Throughout her life, she was known for her warm spirit, compassionate heart, and remarkable creative talents.Although she worked for many years in the utility, customer service, and engineering industries, her true passion was music. Singing brought her immense joy and was one of the many ways she connected with others. She was also deeply passionate about art, writing, and poetry, using her creativity to inspire those around her and express the beauty she saw in life.Family was the center of Idalia’s life. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Juan Manuel Lozano and Amalia Ramos Lozano; her sister, Leticia Lozano Burkholder; her brother, Fernando Lozano; and her cherished goddaughter, Jennifer M. Macías.She is survived by her brother, Juan Manuel Lozano and his wife, Isabel; and her sister, Rosalinda L. Lara and her husband, Jose. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews who loved her dearly.Those who will forever cherish her memory include Brian and Erica Lozano, and Elizabeth Lozano; Gloria and Gavin Weand, and Everleigh Weand; Rico Macías, Joshua Macías, Ana Macías, and Joseph Macías; Dr. Henry Lee IV and Jennifer Burkholder and Jonathan Burkholder; and Valeria Suarez; Eric and Michelle Burkholder; Jacqueline and Ricardo Betancourt, Liliana Betancourt and Alexander Betancourt; and Raquel and Graeme Pereira.Idalia will be remembered for her beautiful voice, artistic spirit, thoughtful writings, and unwavering love for her family. Her kindness, creativity, and generous heart touched countless lives. Whether through a song, a poem, a painting, or a simple act of love, she left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.While her presence will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on through the many lives she enriched and the family and friends who will continue to carry her memory forward with love.
