Irene Lopez Bracamonte, Age 86 years, of Tucson, AZ passed away on Saturday May 30th, 2026. Irene was a native of Tucson AZ. She graduated from Pueblo High School, class of 1958. She met James Hurtado Bracamonte at Santa Cruz church as a teenager, later to marry in 1959. She was a dedicated wife and mother with a strong faith in God. She exemplified kindness and unconditional love for her family. Those that knew her considered her to have an aura of calmness with the belief that all would be fine no matter what the unforeseen barrier in life may be.
She is proceeded in death by her parents Armando Lopez and Delia Dominguez Lopez. Her husband James Hurtado Bracamonte (2012).
She is survived by children Lorraine, James A., and Steve L. Bracamonte; (Gena, Rhonda).
Grandchild: Kristina; Great Grandchildren: Mason, Collin, Gabby, & Xander
Brother and Sisters: Irene, Ernie, Sylvia “Chevy”, Bobby, (“Keta” Henrietta), Mary Lou, Alex, Irene & Paul Salas
Numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.
Services will be held Thursday June 25th8-9 AM Viewing at South Lawn Mortuary9:30 AM Rosary at Santa Cruz Church10:00 AM Mass at Santa Cruz Church11:30 AM Burial at South Lawn Mortuary.
