Irma B Rodriguez

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend Irma Benita Rodriguez, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at the age of 89. She was a resident of Coral Springs, Florida. Irma was born in Ensenada, Puerto Rico on May 18, 1937. Her greatest joy was her family. She was the loving mother of seven children: Beatrice, Judith, Irma, Nancy, Norma, Hector and Henry. She was also a cherished grandmother to 11 grandchildren, a beloved great-grandmother to 21 great-grandchildren and beloved great-great grandmother to two (plus one on the way) great-great-grandchildren. She was the family matriarch and was always looked up to by her family and friends. Irma was a devoted member of St. Andrews Catholic Church and volunteered her time creating food and care packages, for those less fortunate. One of her greatest joys was not only proving food to those in need, but cooking for her family and friends. This was one of her many ways of showing her love and affection, which we all cherished, and will deeply miss. Irma's strength, courage and sacrifices will always be forever remembered by all of us that knew her, but we will carry her memory in our hearts forever. A mass will be held on September 24, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Coral Springs (9950 NW 29th St., Coral Springs, FL 33065).
