Obituary
Jacqueline Bergeron, born in 1941, passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 84 years and 11 months, at the CIUSSS du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Hospital of Dolbeau-Mistassini. She was the daughter of the late M. Joseph Bergeron and the late Mme Monique Simard. She was the wife of M. Claude Gagné and resided in Dolbeau-Mistassini.
She was also the mother of Caroline (Roger Morissette), Stéphane (Ginette Bouchard), and Jean-François (Annie Labana), as well as grandmother to Alexandra Laurin (Kevin René), Jessy Bluteau (Emilie Bouchard), Marianne Gagné, Alexis Gagné, and great-grandmother to Romy. She is survived by her brothers and sisters Lily (Florian Girard), Ruth (René Tremblay), the late Gilles (Claire Potvin), and the late Clément, as well as her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and other relatives.
The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Dolbeau-Mistassini hospital for their dedication and care. A funeral service will be held on July 19, 2026, at 11 am at the Gaston Hébert Chapel at the Complexe funéraire Hébert et fils, Dolbeau. The ashes will be placed at the Dolbeau-Mistassini cemetery, sector Mistassini. Visitors can view the ceremony via live stream.
Donations can be made to the Fondation du Centre Maria-Chapdelaine. The family also invites everyone to leave messages of sympathy.
