Jacques Bernier

On August 31, 2026, Jacques Bernier, aged 78, passed away at the Le Havre du Lac-St-Jean surrounded by loved ones. He was the husband of the late Mme France Lessard, and the son of the late M. Edmond Bernier and the late Mme Yvonne Savard. The family will receive friends and family at the Complexe funéraire Hébert et Fils, Lac-Bouchette. The funeral service will be held on September 19, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the same location. Jacques Bernier was entrusted to the Hébert et Fils Crematorium of Roberval, and his ashes will be laid to rest at the Columbarium St-François-Laval. He leaves in mourning his children: François (France Morneau), Daniel, and Sonia (Yan Côté); his grandchildren; his great-grandchildren; his siblings: Thérèse (deceased Claude Gaudreault), the late Réjeanne (Yvon Thibeault), and Carmella (Jean-Claude Grenon); along with many nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
