James Beard

James Leroy Beard passed on June 27, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on April 7, 1937, James was a resident of Weyburn, Saskatchewan.

James was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Patricia Beard and brother, Shirley Beard.

James will be forever loved and missed by his wife of 40 years, Evelyn Beard of Weyburn, SK; daughter, Susan Obirek; son, Wesley (Vera) Beard; son, Barry (Laurie) Beard; son, Arron Beard; seven grandchildren & seven great grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends As well as his furry friends, Missy and Junior.

At the request of James & his family, cremation will take place and a Private Family Service will be held at a later date.

“I’ve moved on now, don’t feel bad for me. From all life’s burdens and pain, I am finally free. I am free to ride the valleys, hills and plains, or free to drive an empty highway with joy once again. To all who loved and cared for me, I thank you so much. Think of our memories and your hearts I will touch. To those I left behind, my love I send, peace and joy until we meet again.”
