It has been announced that M. Jean-Marc Gravel, also known as Marc, passed away on April 4, 2026, at the age of 91 years and 2 months. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Yolande White, and lived in Chicoutimi. He was the son of the late Mrs. Simone Truchon and the late Mr. Joseph Wilfred Gravel.
A memorial service is scheduled for April 4, 2026, at 12 p.m. at the Chapel of the 5th season of the Chicoutimi Funeral Complex. He was entrusted to the crematorium of the Funeral Alliance of the Kingdom, and his ashes will be interred at the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery at a later date.
He leaves behind his two sons, Patrice Gravel and Terry Gravel, and his grandson Nicolas Gravel. He was the brother of Raymond Gravel (deceased Edith Saucier), and the late Claude (deceased Céline Gagnon), and Jacqueline. He also leaves many nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends, notably Mrs. Adèle Gagnon, a close friend of Mr. Gravel.
The family thanks all the staff treating Mr. Gravel at the MDA MA of the Rivière-Saguenay for their good care.
