On June 13, 2026, surrounded by loved ones, Jean-Marie Lévesque passed away at the age of 83 at the CIUSSS du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Hospital of Dolbeau-Mistassini. He was the husband of Mme Moïsette Théberge and lived in Dolbeau-Mistassini, formerly of Normandin. He was the son of the late Henri Lévesque and Angelina Lapointe. His funeral services were held at the Église St-Cyrille in Normandin. Jean-Marie Lévesque leaves behind his wife, children (Marc, Janick, Jean, and Carole), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, parents-in-law, and extended family. Donations can be made to the Fondation du Centre Maria-Chapdelaine.
