Jessie Rose Miller

Jessie Miller transitioned peacefully on May 9, 2026, at the age of 81, having been born on December 4, 1944, in Franklin, Louisiana.

Jessie lived in Morgan City, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at New Mt. Esther Baptist Church 1213 James Street Morgan City, Louisiana. Burial will follow in the Little Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Verdunville, Louisiana.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her son, Justin (Kesha) Miller of New Iberia, Louisiana; her daughter, Earline Sam of Morgan City, Louisiana; her sisters, Ella (James) Hamilton of Franklin, Louisiana, Sheila (James) Moses, Joycelyn (Johnny) Benjamin, and Tammy (Eddie) Wright, all of Morgan City, Louisiana, and Murlice (Danny Ray) Johnson of Jeanerette, Louisiana; her brother, Albert Ray (Annabelle) Green of Franklin, Louisiana; her special nephew, Ronald Lee Mitchell; two grandchildren, Arrie Sam and Jurney Miller; along with a host of family and friends.

Jessie was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Babino Miller and her parents, Addison Green and Mattie Steward Green; deceased siblings, Catherine Burrell, Kevin Green, Addison Green, Jr., Steve Green, and Amanda Green.
