Jill W. Howell passed away on Saturday May 23, 2026 after a series of brief illnesses. Born in Syracuse, NY on February 7, 1939, Jill was an avid University of Syracuse basketball fan.
Jill met and married Richard L. Howell on November 7, 1959 and spent 61 marvelous years together until Dick’s passing in 2020.
Jill, a devout Catholic, is survived by her son Christopher Howell and his wife Evelyn (Virginia), daughters Tracy Leigh Howell (California), and Virginia Anne Howell (Longs); and her brother Jack and wife Yvonne (New York).
Along with her duties as a homemaker, Jill owned and operated an afternoon tea shop, Owego Tea Room in upstate New York for a number of years.
A Committal Service will be held at North Myrtle Beach Memorial Gardens, 65 SC-90, Little River, SC 29566, on May 29, 2026, at 12:30 pm.
