Josephine S. Styron, 88, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026.
Josephine moved to this area in 1965 from Luverne, Alabama. She worked as a tour director until her retirement and was a member of Eastdale Baptist Church.
Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, C.J. Stephenson and Lessie Bell Stephenson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Gerdon Bishop Styron; her children, Michael A. Styron (Shaye) and Linda J. Coley (Trey); her grandchildren, Kayley A. Styron, Kelsey L. Styron, Alexander B. Coley, and Alden B. Coley; her great-grandchildren, Riley Jo Pugh, Rose Coley, Lilah Coley, Theo Coley, and Ames Coley; and her sisters, Florence Jeffcoat, Myrtle Langford, and Pauline King.
A friends and family visitation for Josephine will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. A chapel service will follow at 11:00 AM.
