Josiah Anthony Soto

Precious Josiah Anthony Soto was born into eternal rest on August 19, 2026, surrounded by his parents and by a love that began long before his parents ever had the chance to hold him.

The name Josiah meaning is “God supports” or “the Lord heals.” How beautifully fitting for a precious little boy whose life, though far too brief, will forever carry such deep meaning.

Josiah Anthony Soto was loved before he was ever held, prayed for before he was ever seen, and will be remembered for a lifetime. His family finds comfort in the beautiful meaning of his name—a reminder that even in their deepest sorrow, God will support and heal them.

Josiah leaves behind his loving parents, Kyle and Julianne Soto, his grandparents, Raymond and Brenda Soto, Douglas and Shellie Eisma; his aunt, Elizabeth Eisma; his uncle Jonathan (Jenna) Eisma and many other family members and friends.

His tiny life made an impact that cannot be measured by days or years. Josiah taught those who loved him that a lifetime of love can be held in even the smallest amount of time.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Louis and Reynalda Soto, Jacquelyn Heckathorn and Betty Jean Eisma.

Though Josiah could not stay in the arms of those who loved him here on earth, their faith assures them that he rests eternally in the arms of Jesus. His tiny life leaves an everlasting imprint upon the hearts of his family, and his name will forever remind them of God's presence, love, and promise to carry them through.
