Jude was born to Paul Roussere and Bernardine Houlemard in Chicago, Illinois on May 4,1943. A dedicated physician and decorated military officer, Jude spent a lifetime selflessly serving his country and caring for others.

After graduating from Mission H.S. in San Gabriel, with two of those years spent in seminary school, he enlisted in the Army where he was a proud member of the 82nd Airborne Division, earning his rank as Lt. Colonel, and serving in Desert Storm and the National Guard. He attended CSU Los Angeles and UC San Francisco with a PhD in Pharmacy.

As his goal was to become a surgeon, he soon graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin with a Doctorate in Medicine. Follow up Education included a Surgery internship and Residency at UC Davis, completing his Specialized Education in Colon and Rectal Surgery at St. Marks Hospital in London, England, and Univ. of Texas at San Antonio. He also touched lives with his skill and empathy overseas with his medical mission in the Philippines.

Above his professional and military accolades, his greatest joy was being 'Grandpa' to his beloved grandchildren, passing down his wisdom, his joy, and his love.

He will be remembered for his integrity, his selflessness, and his love of donuts.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Bernardine; his brothers, Phillip and Anthony; his sisters, Rene, Therese, and Antoinette; and his daughter, Melanie.
