4 juin 2026 Dignity Memorial

Judith (Judy) Ann Korte (Bradfield), age 88, passed away on June 4, 2026, in St Johns, MI. Judy was a resident of DeWitt, Michigan. Born June 3, 1938, at Lansing General, she was the daughter of Orla Edmund Bradfield and Jessie Eva Bradfield (Workman).

On February 2, 1957, Judy was united in marriage with Arnold Korte, who preceded her in death. She graduated from DeWitt High School and devoted herself to both family and community with steady commitment and quiet strength.

Judy worked as a bookkeeper for Cressman Excavating. She also served for many years on the Election Board and the Board of Review for DeWitt, offering her time with diligence and a sincere desire to do what was right and helpful for others.

A faithful member of St John’s Lutheran Church in St. Johns, Judy’s life reflected a deep and enduring devotion. In her everyday ways, she carried a gentle goodness—marked by kindness, warmth, and a steady attentiveness to the needs of those around her. “Good and Faithful Servant” are three words that sum up the life she lived.

Judy found joy in simple, meaningful pursuits. She loved baking, gardening, and quilting—hands-on expressions of care that brought comfort and beauty into the lives of family and friends.
