Karl LeRoy Brehmer

Karl LeRoy Brehmer of Corinth, MS and formerly of Albany, GA, Rockville, IN and Fresno, CA passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Magnolia Regional Health Center.

Karl was born on June 17, 1951 in San Francisco, CA to the late Charles William Brehmer and Alice Mae Barron Brehmer. He attended Fresno City College and graduated with a degree in tool design. He retired from Bemis Corp in Terre Haute in 2014 due to health reasons. Karl loved photography, model railroad layouts, fishing, and most importantly, he was a people person.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Karl is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jamie Carol Doty Brehmer; children, Scott Brehmer and Karen Brehmer; very close cousins who were like brothers, David (Irene) Barron of Clovis, CA and Bob (Gail) Clark of Meridian, ID. Other survivors include Sandi (Les) Dunlap, Anna (Kurt Eakles) Bruhn, Ida Bruhn , Polly (Lou) Ayers, William Theodore Bruhn, Gail Eastwood , Andrea Jones, Laura Gatton, Danny Clark, Sylvia Brehmer Garrett and Celia Barron; sister in law, Nancy (Jim) Oloizia of Fresno, CA; nieces, Catherine (Richard) Ladd and Brianna (Sean) Sullivan; cousin in law, Laura Doty of Santa Rosa, CA and Patrick Doty of California; and a host of other family and many friends.
