Kenneth Lue

6 mai 2026 Dignity Memorial

With profound sadness and loving remembrance, we announce the passing of Kenneth “Frankie” Lue, whose life was marked by kindness, encouragement, strength, and an unwavering commitment to uplifting others.

Kenneth was born in Kingston, Jamaica, to his parents Kenneth and Venus Lue. Raised in Mountain View Estate, he earned the nickname “Frankie” while playing football with the neighborhood children. What began as a childhood nickname remained with him throughout his life and became a name affectionately known by many.

He attended Wolmer’s Boys’ School, and the pride he carried for his alma mater ran deeply through his veins. Kenneth was also a devoted supporter of Manchester United and had a deep love for British soca music.

A devoted Christian, Kenneth’s faith remained an important part of his life and gave him strength throughout his journey. Even during his illness, he continued to trust in God and share encouragement and hope with others. In the days leading up to his passing, his room was filled with the presence and peace of Christian music, bringing comfort not only to him but also to those surrounding him.

For many years, Kenneth courageously battled leukemia. Even when his illness no longer allowed him to remain employed, he never allowed it to diminish his spirit or his purpose. Instead, he continued doing what came naturally to him — reaching out to others with positive messages, encouraging words, thoughtful phone calls, and daily inspiration. He believed deeply in making others feel valued and special, and that consistency became one of the defining qualities of his life.

Kenneth spent much of his professional life working in customer service, where he truly thrived in serving the public. His warm personality, compassion, and genuine care for people left lasting impressions wherever he went.

One of Kenneth’s greatest gifts was his ability to share words of hope and encouragement. Each day, he would offer thoughts and reflections, always hoping that someone, somewhere, would be impacted by them. Even in death, that legacy continues to shine brightly. The overwhelming responses to his passing across social media — filled with shock, sadness, heartfelt memories, and tributes — stand as a testimony to the many lives he touched. Friends, loved ones, and even those simply reading the messages have witnessed the powerful impact of a man who dedicated himself to uplifting others.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth; his sister, Apryl; and his brother, Peter.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving sons, Christopher and Ajani; his beloved daughter, Victoria; his mother, Venus; his brother, Ricky; his sisters, Collette and Sandi; as well as nieces, nephews, a host of loving family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by his kindness and encouragement.

Kenneth’s memory will continue to live on through the encouragement he shared, the kindness he demonstrated, and the countless lives he inspired. His life reminds us all of the importance of compassion, connection, faith, and making others feel seen and valued.

Though he will be deeply missed, Kenneth’s spirit, faith, and words of encouragement will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
