Laura Ann Colle, Born April 09, 1956, passed away suddenly early in the morning hours of Saturday July 11, 2026.
Laura was preceded in death by her father, Jack Colle, and her mother, Olga Colle, nee Treigle. She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, David Ray Petry, her son, Jacob Colle, and her grandson, Kaleb Colle.
Laura loved her family and cherished her friends. She had a caring heart and an infectious smile. She could find a friend anywhere she went.
Not only did Laura have a love for people, but she loved animals. Caring for and rescuing countless dogs and cats throughout her life, whether they were hers or strays. She hated to see any animal suffering. After retiring from Jack Colle and Associates, she spent countless hours volunteering with the Rescue Pet Movement.
In lieu of flowers, her family asks that gifts be made in her memory to the 'Rescue Pet Movement,' an organization that helps provide care to animals that have been abandoned and attempts to help them find forever homes as an alternative to euthanasia.
The celebration of life will be on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 4 pm at 6118 Lynwood Bank Ln Houston Texas 77092.
