Laurence Martel

At the Jeffery Hale Hospital, on August 4, 2026, at the age of 90 years and 2 months, Mrs. Laurence Martel passed away, daughter of the late Mrs. Rose-Anna Bureau and the late Mr. Adélard Martel.

The family will receive condolences, in the presence of the ashes, at the Cooperative Funeral of the Two Banks, Funeral Center of the Plateau, 693, avenue Nérée-Tremblay, Quebec G1N 4R8, on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. A Celebration of the Word will follow at 3:45 PM. The ashes will be buried at Portneuf Cemetery.

She leaves behind her children Denise (René Haince), Carole, Guylaine (Sylvain St-Arneault), Joanne (Gaëtan Duchaine), and Martin (Julie Laplante); her grandchildren Vincent, Élisa, Audrey, Mathieu, Isabelle, and Félix; her great-grandchildren; her sister Claudette (Réjean Gauthier), her brother Gaston (the late Francine Moisan), her sister-in-law Denise Huard, as well as her nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives.

She is now reunited with her sister Jeanne-d’Arc and her brothers Albert, Armand, Laurent, Robert, Jean-Paul, and Roland, as well as her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Thanks to the medical team of the Palliative Care Unit at Jeffery Hale Hospital for their good care, attention, empathy, and encouragement during her hospitalization.
