Leonard Witt

Leonard John Witt, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on August 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.Leonard was born on February 19, 1947. He graduated from Davenport West High School in 1965 and went on to become a self-employed electrician, building a career through hard work, skill, and dedication.In January 1976, Leonard married Bonnie, and together they built a life centered around family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.Leonard is survived by his wife, Bonnie; his three daughters, Jennifer, Amy, and Andrea, all of Davenport; and three beloved grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Ron (Bev) Witt of Greenville, Wisconsin; Sharon (Jim) Burke of Bettendorf, Iowa; and Kenny (Tori) Witt of Eldridge, Iowa.He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James.Leonard will be remembered for the life he built, the work he took pride in, and most importantly, the family he loved. His memory will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and he will be deeply missed.
