Léopold Roussel

The family and loved ones have the deep sadness to announce the death of Mr. Léopold Roussel, at the Amqui Hospital Center, on July 31, 2026, at the age of 82 years and 11 months. He lived in Amqui.

He was the husband of the late Madame Gabrielle Turcotte.

He was the son of the late Mr. Fernando Roussel and the late Madame Célina Lavoie.

Mr. Roussel leaves behind:

• his children: Martin (Marlène Morin), Chantal (Eric Canuel) (late Francis Landry), Denis (Valérie Guay);
• his grandchildren: Jean-Michel (Amélie), André-Luc (Audrey-Maude), Jérémie, Angélique (Gabriel), Alyson, Alexis, William;
• his great-grandchildren: Mathis and Céleste;

He was the brother of:

• Camille (Gaétane Cassista), Yolande (late Louis-Guy Perron), Gisèle (late Gratien Cassista), Roger (Thérèse Lagacé), Gilles (Jeannette Morneau), Pierrette (Marc Boulianne), Normand (Denise Cauvier);

He was preceded by:

• the late Yvette (late Lucien Leclerc), Wilfrid (late Jeannine Leclerc), Jacqueline (late Wilfrid Dubé), Elisée (late Françoise Pilote), Jeannine (late Lionel Fournier), Estelle (late Roger St-Amand), Joseph-Marie (Jeannine Cassista), Marcelle, Georgette (late François Pilote) (late Robert Fournier), Fernand (late Ghislaine Morneau);

His sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law from the Turcotte family:

• the late Claudette (late Jean-Claude Dumoulin), Yvon (Céline Bérubé), the late Joseph-Marie, Ginette (Pierre Chevarie), the late Gilles, Sylvie (Sylvain Martel), Guylaine (Daniel Lévesque);

His nephews, nieces, cousins, and many other relatives and friends.

The funeral rites will be held in the family’s privacy.
