Lillie White Evans peacefully departed this life on July 28, 2026, at her home in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born on August 14, 1949, in Natchitoches, Louisiana, to James Keller White and Lillie Mae Robinson Johnson White. Lillie is survived by her children, grandchildren, siblings, and a host of other loved family and friends. She was an accomplished educator, graduating from Natchitoches Central High School in 1967, earning her degrees from Grambling State University and Louisiana Tech University, and serving the Caddo Parish School District for nearly thirty years. A devout Christian, she valued faith and education, mentoring many youth and leaving a legacy of love and dedication. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Gateway Church, Shreveport, LA, on August 22, 2026.
