Lise Desjardins Garant

With profound sadness, we announce the death of Lise Desjardins Garant, who passed away on June 17, 2026, at the age of 83, in Sainte-Thérèse.

She leaves behind her husband Charles André Garant with whom she shared 62 years of life, her children Marie-Josée (Mario Bérubé) and François-Éric (Joyce-Lynn Côté), her six beloved granddaughters Pascale, Isabelle, Érica, Catherine, Jasmine, and Arielle, her sister Suzanne (the late Sigmond Gyori), her sister-in-law Micheline (Claude Gilbert), her niece Linda, her nephew Peter, along with many relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Résidence funéraire Laval located at 2000, rue Cunard, Laval, QC H7S 2G5, Canada. The funeral service will be held in the presence of the ashes, and the interment will take place at a later date in the company of the immediate family. The family especially thanks Ms. Lucie Giguère, social worker at the Société Alzheimer Laurentides, for her support and kindness over the past years.
