Lise Desjardins

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lise Desjardins on September 1, 2026, at the age of 86. She was the daughter of the late Lionel Desjardins and Marie-Jeanne Larocque.

Predeceased by her husband André Couture, she leaves behind her beloved children Johanne (Claude), Nathalie (Yan), Marc (Julie), and Michel (Line). She was a adored grandmother to her grandchildren Dave, Steve, Marie-Claude, Émilie, Carl, Mélissa, Karolane, Vanessa, and a great-grandmother to Presly, Jaxon, Alek, Mathilde, Éloi, Ayanna, and Léonie.

Lise also leaves her siblings Roger (the late Thérèse Dupont) and Jean-Guy (the late Joanne St-Jacques), her sisters Line (the late Robert Pétrin) and Alice (Marcel Mougeot), along with brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by brothers Rodolphe (Francine Madore), Gilles (the late Lucette Bisson), Gérard (Lucienne Racicot), Yvon, Denis (the late Martine Bisson), and Marc.

She leaves behind a legacy filled with love, cherished memories, and beautiful moments shared with everyone she touched throughout her life. Her presence will be missed greatly, but her love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

May she rest in peace now that she is with her beloved husband. A celebration of life for Lise and André will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS (Pavillon Lac Beauchamp), located at 750, boulevard Maloney Est in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences from 9 a.m..

Expressions of sympathy may be made by donations to the Résidence Le Monarque. The family wishes to thank the palliative care team at CLSC Vallée-de-la-Lièvre, especially Dr. Valérie Guilbeault and nurse Marie-Véronique Dussault, for their excellent care at home, as well as the staff at Résidence Le Monarque. Special thanks to Line Desjardins (her sister and goddaughter) for her support.
