Lois Carol Smith, age 87, of Waterford, was born July 11, 1939, and passed away peacefully July 13, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Frank William Smith. Loving mother of Margaret (Stephen) McCarthy and Yvonne Johnson. Cherished grandmother of Maria, Michael (Sara), and Meghan McCarthy. Lois will be missed by numerous other family members and friends. Lois was preceded in passing by her parents, Jerry and Eunice Miller; and her siblings, Eloise York, Emogene Head, Ina Faye Poole, Homer Wendell Miller, and Forrest Miller.
Loiss family was the greatest joy of her life. She loved them deeply and wholeheartedly, and nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with those she cherished. She had the kindest heart, was incredibly generous, and accepted everyone without judgment. Her beautiful smile could brighten any room. Lois enjoyed word searches, puzzles, traveling with her siblings, and listening to country music. She will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and the unconditional love she shared with everyone around her.
