Lois J. (Beebe) Garcia

Lois J. (Beebe) Garcia was born on February 24, 1935 and passed away on April 28, 2026 and is under the care of Marengo-Union Funeral Home.

Lois grew up in Marengo and was raised within her community, she graduated Marengo community high school in 1953. Lois grew within her faith at Marengo United Methodist Church since she was just a young girl and led her children and family in her faith as well.

Lois married Ismael Garcia in 1987 and would be celebrating 40 years of marriage this year. Lois spent her days fulfilled with the things she loved, such as cooking, baking, gardening, knitting, and being surrounded by her family. As she grew older and her health took a toll she slowed down on her busy lifestyle and learned to live within her home, enjoying the slow days with her husband and visitors whenever anyone had a chance to stop by. She spent her days learning how to keep up with all the new technology as she got a smart tv, touch screen cellphone, and quickly adjusted to learning how to text.

She was a mother of three children, Julie, Betty, and Randy, who later in life blessed her with 10 grandchildren and from there her family kept growing. She became a great grandmother of 22 great grandchildren, and a great great grandmother of 7 great great grandchildren.

She is very loved and will be greatly missed but will be accompanied in eternal life by her loved ones that have passed. She is survived by her husband Ismael, her three children Julie, Betty, and Randy and all of her loving friends and family.
