Lois Marie (Smoker) Jencka

Lois Marie (Smoker) Jencka, age 94, passed away on June 7, 2026, at Perry Health & Rehabilitation. She was born on October 14, 1931, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Lois grew up in Overbrook and graduated in 1949 from St. Francis Academy. She was married to Francis (Frank) Valentine Jencka for 50 years, and worked as a library aide and at the Duquesne Light Company. She was a mother of five children, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known for her talents in cooking, baking, painting, and crafts. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Aidan Parish. Lois loved shopping, visiting The Rivers Casino, and was active in her community.
