Lorraine Parent

Lorraine Parent, at the age of 85, passed away on June 20, 2026, at l’Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus. She was the wife of Jean Lemieux, daughter of the late Florence Durand and Médéric Parent. She resided in Québec.

The family will receive condolences in the presence of the ashes at the church Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola, 3325 Loyola Street, Québec, on July 3, 2026, from 9:30 AM, followed by a ceremony at 10:30 AM. The ashes will be laid to rest at Saint-Charles cemetery at a later date. She is survived by her children Marie-Lynn Richard and Stéphan Richard (Sonia Mathieu), her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister Pierrette Nelson, her half-siblings Éric and Lucie Parent, her in-laws, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family thanks the staff of the Oncology, Pulmonology, and Palliative Care departments of Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus for their dedicated and compassionate care.
