Louise Juanita Flores

Louise Flores, age 77, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on March 23, 1949, in Houston, Texas, Louise lived a life defined by love, generosity, and devotion to those she cherished. She was known as a one-of-a-kind woman because there is no one else like her. She possessed a rare and beautiful spirit, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her kindness knew no bounds, and her compassionate heart touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Throughout her life, Louise held many roles, including serving as a records clerk for the Houston Police Department at the midnight shift, where she met the love of her life, David. Yet among all her accomplishments, her greatest joy and proudest calling was being a mother to her children and “Memaw” to her grandchildren. Her love radiated through every generation of her family, and she found her greatest fulfillment in the lives of her four children, fourteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. They were her treasured legacy and the source of her deepest pride.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, J.J. and Mable Means. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, David; her children, Ivy, Dickie, David, and Jennifer; her fourteen grandchildren, John, Megan, Melany, Jacob, Joey, Dominic, Kyndall, Blake, Jax, Heather, Rachel, Ally, David, and Danielle; her three great-grandchildren, Bella, Elena, and Ezekiel; and her two sisters, Helen and Elizabeth.

Louise lived each day with grace, selflessness, and an unwavering commitment to caring for others. To know her was to experience genuine kindness and unconditional love. Her legacy of compassion, generosity, and devotion will continue to shine through the lives she touched and the family she so deeply loved. Though she will be profoundly missed, her memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
