Louisette Goyette passed away at the Hôtel Dieu de Saint-Hyacinthe on August 14, 2026, at the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late Roger Goyette and the late Rose-Aimé Dupont. Louisette leaves behind her husband Marcellin Dupont and her children: Johanne Fluet (deceased Yvan Chicoine), Francine Fluet (Christian Beauregard), Eric Fluet (Louise Coutu), and Isabelle Fluet (Patrick Renaud). Her grandchildren include Geneviève, Stéphanie, the late Hughes Beauregard, Mathieu, Justin, Eve, Claudel, Roxane, Florence, Annabelle, and their spouses, as well as her great-grandchildren Zoé, Léah, Ophélie, and Maély. Additionally, she is survived by her brothers and sisters Ghislaine, Marthe, Céline, Bernard, Gérard, the late Jean-Claude, the late Yvon, the late Denis, the late Marcel, her brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences at the Residence funéraire Maska, located at 5325 boul. Laurier Ouest, Saint-Hyacinthe, J2S 3V6, on Sunday, September 13, from 11 am to 1 pm. A memorial service will be held at the chapel of the residence at 1 pm.
The family thanks the staff of the Hôtel Dieu de Saint-Hyacinthe's Unit of the Gare for their support and care. In memory of Louisette, it is requested that donations be made to the Fondation Aline Letendre or Fondation du Cœur et de l’AVC instead of sending flowers.
