Obituary
Lucette Trudel Gosselin, born in 1936, passed away in 2026 at the age of 90. She was a resident of Senneterre. She was the daughter of the late Bruno Trudel and Rachel Plourde, and wife of the late Laurent Gosselin.
She is survived by her children: Denis (Sandra Mccrea), Michel (Carole-Yvonne Richard), Martine (Mario Frenette), and Mario (Carole Lemelin). Her grandchildren: Stéphane, Yann, Mélanie, and Joanie (Sébastien Hamelin). Her great-grandchildren: Abigail, Madison, Benson, Éthan, Samuel, and James. Her siblings: Claude (Michelle St-Pierre), Béatrice (Ricky Romano), the late Solange (Jean-Pierre Barragan), the late Maurice (Diane St-Jean), and the late Jean-Pierre (Jacinthe Archambeault). She also leaves behind brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and many relatives and friends.
The family expresses their gratitude to the staff at the Îlot d'Or and CLSC of Senneterre, especially the nurses at the CLSC who provided round-the-clock care.
Memorial donations can be made to the Fondation L'Îlot d'Or, Senneterre.
The remains will be displayed at the Coopérative funéraire de l'Abitibi, 431, 10e Avenue, Senneterre, on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm. The funeral will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 4 pm at Église St-Paul de Senneterre, and burial will follow at the St-Paul Cemetery in Senneterre.
