It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly loved friend Lucina ter Haar.
Born in Nieuweniedorp, Netherlands to father, Harm ter Haar and mother, Jansje Verhage.
After working in Switzerland she made her way to Montreal for Expo 67 and decided to make Canada her home. She worked as a unit coordinator at the Montreal General Hospital until her retirement. She was a loyal friend, very independent and an avid world traveller up to a few years ago.
She kept in touch with friends she made around the world. Her concern for her friends’ well-being took priority over her own welfare. Her friends will miss her loving smile and gentle kindness.
She cherished her independence and lived in her own home until 2 weeks before passing.
She is sorely missed by her all her good friends and forever loved, especially by Anna, Susan and Joseph.
