Obituary

On May 5, 2026, surrounded by all the love of his family, Louis Milliard passed away at the age of 67 years and 9 months at the CIUSSS Saguenay Lac St-Jean / La Baie Hospital. He was the husband of Mrs. Martine Desgagné, residing in La Baie. He was the son of the late Mrs. Réjeanne Boily and the late Mr. Jean-Paul Milliard.

The family will receive relatives and friends, in the presence of the ashes, on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Coopérative funéraire du Fjord, 1186, 2e Rue, La Baie. A celebration of the Word will be held on the same day, Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 3 PM at the Chapel of the Coopérative funéraire du Fjord. Louis leaves behind his wife, Mrs. Martine Desgagné, and their daughters Sabrina Milliard-Desgagné and Marianne Milliard-Desgagné (Sébastien Delisle).

He was the brother of Guy Milliard (Nathalie Lavoie) and Myriam Milliard (Steeve Desbiens). He also leaves his niece Rosie Milliard (Enrick Vaillancourt) and many relatives and friends. The family thanks all the personnel of the 3rd floor of the La Baie Hospital for the good care given to Mr. Milliard.
