On May 11, 2026, at the age of 85 years and 4 months, Mr. Marc Gagnon passed away at CIUSSS du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Hospital of Chicoutimi. He was the husband of Mrs. Monique Laferrière, residing in Chicoutimi. He was the son of the late Madame Lucie-Anna Bouchard and the late Mr. Gérard Gagnon.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chicoutimi Funeral Complex. A farewell celebration will be held at 2 p.m. at the Complexe funéraire Chicoutimi, Chapel of the 5th Season.

He was entrusted to the crematorium of the Funeral Alliance and his ashes will be buried at the St. François Xavier cemetery.

In addition to his wife, Mrs. Monique Laferrière, he leaves behind his children: Diane Gagnon, Daniel Gagnon (Marie-Josée Dumont), and Eric Gagnon.

His grandchildren: Anne-Marie Gagnon, Maxime Gagnon (Jessika Gravel), Nathaniel Lemlin Gagnon, Michel Lapointe Gagnon.

He was the brother of the late Réal Gagnon, the late Madeleine Gagnon, the late Germain Gagnon (the late Marie-Andrée Brisson), Michel Gagnon (Jacqueline Tremblay), the late Paul Gagnon (the late Claire Maltais), the late Laval Gagnon, Rolande Gagnon (Renald Laperrière), and Francine Gagnon (Louis Girard).

He was the brother-in-law of Jean-Guy Laferrière (Claudette Lalancette), Suzanne Laferrière (Gilles Imbeault), the late Denise Laferrière (the late Claude Grenier), Michel Laferrière, Sylvie Laferrière (Luc Gagnon), Louise Laferrière (the late André Brault), Esther Laferrière (Régis Gaudreault).

He also leaves many nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
