Passed away at La Vallée des Roseaux in Baie-Comeau on June 13, 2026, at the age of 91. She was the daughter of the late Béatrice Boulay and the late Zénon Larocque, and wife of the late Alcide Girard. She resided in Ragueneau.
The family will receive visitors at La Coopérative funéraire Haute-Côte-Nord-Manicouagan, 41, route 138, Ragueneau, Quebec G0H 1S0, on Saturday, August 15, 2026, starting at 9 a.m. A memorial service will be held at the same location on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11 a.m.
She leaves behind her daughter Joan, her daughters of the heart: Charlyne Harvey (Richard Paré) and Claire Desbiens; her grandchildren: Vicky (Samuel) and Steeve (Amélie); her great-grandchildren: Alexis (Vivianne), Damien, Nathan, Milan, and Zack; her brother Normand (Johanne); her sisters: Aline (late Lorenzo Ducharme), Thérèse (late Thadéa St-Pierre), Pauline (Robin Perron), and Louise; her aunt Alma Boulay, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Contributions in her memory can be made to La Vallée des Roseaux, Baie-Comeau.
