Marilyn K. VanArsdall

9 mai 2026 Lyster, Quebec Dignity Memorial

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Marilyn “Mawmaw” Kay Bowden VanArsdall, born on March 2, 1954, who peacefully entered her heavenly home on May 9, 2026.

Marilyn was a devoted mother, cherished Mawmaw, compassionate nurse, faithful Christian and a proud fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. She spent her life caring for others with kindness, humor and an unwavering heart. Whether she was sharing God’s word, helping patients, supporting her family or cheering on her beloved Eagles, Marilyn brought warmth and love wherever she went.

She leaves behind a family who will forever treasure her memory: her son, Brad Steven VanArsdall; daughter Lacy Jean VanArsdall; bonus daughter Amber Vincent; granddaughters Madison Denise VanArsdall and Abby Jean VanArsdall; and great-grandchildren, Colter Flynn VanArsdall and Elaina Cathy Vazquez. Her love, wisdom, and laughter will continue to live on through each of them.

Marilyn is now reunited in Heaven with her father, Billy Jack Bowden; mother, Eva Jean Pierce; brothers, Randy and Timmy Bowden; along with many other beloved family members and dear friends who welcomed her home.

May we all find comfort in knowing Marilyn’s faith carried her into eternal peace. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Marilyn's family will gather for a time of visitation on Monday, May 18, 2026 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Lloyd James Funeral Home. A service to celebrate her life will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Lloyd James Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Dennard officiating. She will be laid to rest at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery.
