Marion Holmstrom grew up in the Salem area before moving to California to attend college. After graduation, she began her teaching career in California, where she met and married her husband of 38 years, Floyd.
Together, Marion and Floyd moved to Oregon, where they raised their two sons. While raising her family, Marion earned a master’s degree in early childhood education and continued her teaching career in the Salem area until her retirement.
Following retirement, Marion fully embraced her love of quilting and cherished time spent with friends and family. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her commitment to teaching, and the creativity and enthusiasm she brought to her life and relationships.
