Marjorie Virginia Crane

Marjorie Virginia Crane passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026, at the age of 90.

Marjorie was a strong, determined woman who was the boss of her family in the best sense of the word. She was strict, frugal, opinionated, and never afraid to tell you what she thought. But underneath that strong personality was a woman who loved her family deeply and spent her life teaching, guiding, and looking out for the people she loved.

She taught her children many of the things that mattered most in life—how to read, how to walk, how to work hard, how to be responsible, and how to know right from wrong. She was a woman who believed in taking care of her family and doing things the right way.

Marjorie was also a successful and hardworking businesswoman. Throughout her life, she owned and operated several successful businesses, building a life through determination, hard work, and perseverance. Eventually, she and her beloved husband, Richard L. Crane Sr., retired to Florida, where they enjoyed their later years together.

Marjorie and Richard loved to travel and traveled extensively throughout the United States, especially Las Vegas, which held a special place in their hearts. Their travels together created many memories that their family will cherish.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard L. Crane Sr., her daughter, Debra Lee “Angel” August, and her sister, Karen, who passed away earlier this year.

Marjorie leaves behind her son, Richard L. Crane Jr., and his wife, Betty J. Crane; their daughters, Samantha Marie Diaz and her husband, Kristofer Diaz, and Amber Virginia Rainaldi and her husband, Gene Rainaldi.

She is survived by her great-grandchildren Jayson Aydan Barnes Crane, Jacob James Diaz, Lela Victoria Diaz, and Amelia Louise Rainaldi.

She is also survived by the children of her late daughter, Debra Lee “Angel” August: Dylan August, Odessa August, and Andy August, as well as her great-grandchildren Brice August and Serena August.

She is also survived by her brothers, Larry Anderson and his wife, Jeanette, and Curtis Anderson and his husband, BJ, along with extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Marjorie's life was not always easy, and neither was she. But she was our mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her voice, her opinions, her strength, her lessons, and the memories she created with her family will remain long after she is gone.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by the family she loved.
