Mark Richard Maguire

Mark Richard Maguire, 38, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away on August 17, 2026. He was born on April 14, 1988, in Mt. Pleasant, lowa, to David and Anne Maguire. Mark attended Dublin City Schools and graduated from Hudson High School. He was a longtime Special Olympics athlete in basketball, golf, and track and was an active golfer with the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO). He especially enjoyed weekly rounds of golf with his parents. Mark was known for his sweet smile, kind and loving nature, wonderful sense of humor, and easygoing personality. He loved spending time with family and friends, including weekly outings with his best friend, Chris. He enjoyed attending day programming at Addventures, working out with Sam through Valemee Gym, listening to music, playing basketball and putt-putt, going to the movies, playing video games at Dave & Buster's, watching WWE wrestling, and dining out. He especially enjoyed annual trips to Disney World and loved goofing around with Laurel and Brooks. Mark's consistent presence brought joy and comfort to everyone who knew him. His sweet smile and infectious personality will be deeply missed.
