Peacefully in his 100th year on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Rose. Long time loving partner of Rosalee Rohr. Devoted father and father-in-law of Amy and Allan Sheff, and Irving and Diane Osher. Cherished Zaidie of Jordan and Lauren Sheff, Marisa Sheff and Andrew Juurinen, Laurie and Jason Solmon; Brandon and Maria, Deidra and Casey Karls. Proud great-grandfather of thirteen great-grandchildren. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Kopel and Pnina Osher and the late Leibisch Osher who perished in the Holocaust; Brother-in-law of the late Lucy and the late Bernard Friedman, the late Tova Glotzer. Martin will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by Rosalee’s children, Neil Rohr, Elliot Rohr and Dana Firestone, and Peter and Hellen Rohr and their children as well as his many nieces, nephews, relatives and family. Special thanks to Doctors Daniel Wiseman and Ruby Friedman for their care, kindness and devotion.

Funeral service from Paperman & Son, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Monday, May 25, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Beth Tikvah Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
