Mary Elizabeth Hall

Mary Elizabeth Hall, age 90, passed away on August 13, 2026 in Gilmer, TX. She was born on January 16, 1936 in TX to Morris & Bertie Johnston.Mary was raised in LaPoynor, TX and graduated from LaPoynor in 1954. She married Marvin Wayne Hall in 1956 and the couple had 3 children. She was a homemaker to her family in Longview and Gladewater for many loving years. In her spare time, Mary enjoyed cooking, collecting, taking pictures, & traveling with her sisters, as well as gardening, crochet, bird watching and “Keeping the road hot” — as Marvin would say! Her family and friends will always remember her as a good Christian mother who loved all of her family.She is preceded in death by:Marvin Hall (Husband)Jason Hall (Son)Brandon Hall (Grandson)Bobbie Ray, Tom, Billy, James (Brothers)Anna Belle, Betty Lou (Sisters)Mary's memory is left to be cherished by her surviving family and friends.A time of visitation will be held on August 18, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
