Mary Frances Lane

Mary Frances Lane, 76, of Summerville, SC, passed peacefully on Tuesday September 1, 2026.

Relatives and friends of Mary Lane are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the time of service on Saturday.

Mary, fondly known as Doodle, MeMe, MeMa, Ms. Mary, and Ma; was born on July 19th, 1950, to Sadie and Earl Faircloth in Loris, SC.

Mary was a happy soul; her laughter was as infectious as her smile. She had a beautiful heart and gave it freely to everyone she met. Her family was her greatest treasure. She never turned down an invitation to go shopping and had a sharp eye for a bargain. She will be greatly missed.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Kathy Lane of Summerville; her son, Dale Lane (Summer) of Ladson; her grandson, Jackson Lane; granddaughters, Marissa Lane and Britanee Roberson; nieces, Renay Hardee (Chris) of Loris, and Melissa Lambert (Wesley) of Simpsonville. She is also survived by many more nieces and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lane and her sister, Earlene Long.
