Mary Lou Guzy, 72 of Ormond Beach Florida passed away on April 19, 2026. Born in Bridgeport, CT on July 25, 1953, Mary Lou graduated from New Canaan High School.
She was married to Ronald Guzy on March 17, 1988. Mary Lou worked/had a career in Insurance & Financial Services for Capital Partners. She had a passion for her children, family, and caring for others. She loved adventures, casinos and scratch-off lottery tickets.
She loved animals (especially all her dogs - Toby, Bob, Livy, Keena and her grand dogs - Hutch, Issabelle, Ebony, Nola).
She was preceded in death by parents Edward Ryan & Helen Fitzsimmons, her brother Mark Ryan, and sister Patricia Tallon. She is survived by her husband Ronald Guzy, son/wife Tim Gates & Landra Roberson, daughter/husband Shannon and Daniel Friedman, and her siblings: Richard Ryan, Bruce Ryan, Ron Ryan, Jeff Ryan, Eddie Ryan, Lisa Feldman, and Suzzie Bivrell.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at Bear Creek Village on June 14, 2026 from 1-4pm at Celebration Clubhouse #2, 5 Brown Bear Path, Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
