Matthew Lee Anderson

Matthew Lee Anderson, better known to family and friends as Matt, passed away on July 7, 2026, at the age of 55.

Born on August 18, 1970, in Houston, Texas, Matt lived life with a quick wit, a stubborn streak, and a heart that was bigger than he often let on. He was known for making people laugh, and if he loved you, there was nothing he wouldn't do for you. Around family, hearing "Matthew Lee" usually meant he knew he'd done something to earn it.

Matt worked in computer logistics and enjoyed spending his free time grilling, gaming, attending the Texas Renaissance Festival, and painting Dungeons & Dragons miniatures. While he had many interests, nothing meant more to him than spending time with his family.

Matt will be remembered for his laughter, his sarcastic sense of humor, and the unwavering love he had for the people closest to him. Whether gathered around the grill, seated around a game table, or simply enjoying time with the people he loved, Matt had a way of leaving everyone with a story worth telling and a reason to laugh.

Though he may no longer be with us, his stories will continue to be shared, his jokes will continue to make us smile, and "Grumpy" will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
