It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing ofour beloved brother, Michael Alves Ferreira.Michael was born in Toronto, Ontario, on March 8, 1958. Heunexpectedly died on May 14, 2026, at the age of 68.“Mike”, the eldest son, was preceded in death by his parents,Miguel Ferreira and Maria Alves Ferreira. He is survived by hissiblings, Maria (Lawrence) Wellman, Christine (Peter) Feldmanand Norman (Debora) Ferreira. He is also survived by nieces andnephews, Pamela (Kell), Kirk, Rick, Colin (Siobhan), Jamie(Sascha), Shayna and Tayana; as well as his great-niece, Fiadh.Michael enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. He will be deeplymissed and forever remembered by family and friends who knewand loved him.A private family celebration of life will be held.Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.Love you always.
