Michael Holland

Michael Holland, age 86 of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at Birchwood Care Center. Michael was born on June 11, 1940 in Hamilton, the son of the late John and Hazel (Cole) Holland. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and worked as a Journeyman Millwright at General Motors for 30 years. Michael is survived by his son, Michael J. (Sheri) Holland; grandchildren, Cody Woods, Kristine Lema, Tyler (Heather) Woods, and Drew Holland; great-grandchildren, Beau, Reagan, Zander, Nellie, Alexa, Mikaela, and Jackson; and sisters, Shirley Lyons and Peggy Holland. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hazel; daughter, Peggy Lee Brockman; and siblings, Jack Holland, Joanne Wright, Janet Cook, Nancy Frost, and Linda Espinosa. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice of Cincinnati for all the loving care that was given to Michael. A Visitation will be held from 10am until 11am on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. A Funeral Service will begin at 11am on Saturday at the funeral with Minister John Witt officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
