Mr. James Rayburn Smith, 86 years old, Steele, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, May 21, 2026. He was a father and grandfather, shared 67 years of marriage with his late wife Eva Janet Smith, and was a generational farmer who established Rayburn Smith Farms. He loved to fish, enjoyed working on farm equipment and old Ford trucks. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, siblings, and granddaughter. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and brothers. The funeral was at Mt. Lebanon Church, officiated by Ricky Smith and Josh Redden.
