Renika was funny and outspoken, with a strength and resilience that carried her through life. She could also be private and reserved, keeping parts of herself close. She loved to laugh loudly and fully, a sound her family and friends will always remember.
More than anything, she loved being with family. She deeply loved her daughters and was always checking in on them. Renika spent much of her working life as an accountant and enjoyed her work and colleagues. She loved home and comfort, and enjoyed watching movies or being on social media.
Her life was filled with ordinary moments that her family will hold onto and miss. Renika Brookins is survived by her daughters Jimia Allen and Zhaida Naomi, Mother Sherri McClain, Sisters Sakeanah Johnson and Tarsjah Thomas, Brothers Antwain Brookins and Andra Washington, Aunts Bridgette Brown, Deborah Vann, and Kendra Burns, Uncle Kevin Burns, and many other relatives and friends.
