Nancy Marie Blankenship, age 66, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in Germantown, TN, surrounded by her two sisters. She attended Oak Hill Baptist Church in Pontotoc. Nancy was a speech/language pathologist. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, being a huge Cardinals baseball fan, and spending time with her dogs, Ozzie, Harriet, and Patches.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., at Oak Hill Baptist Church, with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 6:00 P.M. at Oak Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Marty Browning officiating. Burial will take place in Old Loogootee Cemetery in Fayette County, IL. Browning Funeral Home in Pontotoc is honored to assist the Blankenship family with the services.
