Nancy Lucille O'Neill

Nancy O'Neill, age 92, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, on March 12th, she lived a life defined by faith, quiet strength and gratitude for life's blessings. Before marriage, she pursued her calling as a nurse, a profession that reflected her lifelong compassion and dedication for caring for others.

She married the love of her life Donald O'Neill, and together they shared 59 years of marriage built on unwavering love, respect, faith and partnership. Their marriage became an example to their children and all who knew them. Even through life's hardships, she spoke of her husband with enduring love and admiration.

As the mother of six children, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family. Though resources were often limited, she and her husband created a home filled with love, stability, laughter and dignity. Through hard work, sacrifice and remarkable resourcefulness, she ensured her children never felt deprived but instead deeply cared for and secure. She taught by example the values of kindness, respect, perseverance, self-reliance, faith and compassion.

After raising her children, she returned to nursing and served for more than 15 years as the school nurse at St. Pius X Catholic Church, where she lovingly cared for generations of students and families.

Later in life, she and her husband here blessed with the opportunity to travel together, creating cherished memories in places that brought her great joy and wonder. She often spoke with gratitude about how blessed she felt to experience the beauty of the world after years devoted to hard work and family.

More than anything, she treasured the people she loved. Throughout her life, she remained a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend whose steady presence, wisdom, generosity and unconditional love shaped the lives of all who knew her.

Her family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband and at peace in God's eternal care.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
